His art is home to the world—with its wild dreams and endless possibilities, erotic moments and poses, fashion statements, surprising captions, almost like rap or Dada, which take you on a journey and repeatedly trigger exciting fireworks of associations in the viewer. So wherever you look, however you want to compare, name, or classify it – you undeniably encounter a vast cosmos.
Peter Sengl is a master painter, one of Austria's most versatile artists, represented in numerous international collections. He is someone who has never compromised, who has always remained true to his humor and sarcasm as well as his guiding principle—he has no desire to be bored.

The Austrian artist Peter Sengl is considered one of the most original figures in contemporary art. In seiner Kunst ist die Welt zuhause – mit ihren wilden Träumen und unendlichen Möglichkeiten, mit erotischen Momenten und Posen, mit Fashion-Statements, überraschenden Bildtexten, fast wie Rap oder Dada, die einen mit auf die Reise nehmen und immer wieder aufregende Assoziationsfeuerwerke im Betrachter auslösen. Wohin man also schaut, wie immer man vergleichen, benennen oder einordnen möchte – man trifft unbestreitbar auf einen gewaltigen Kosmos.
Peter Sengl ist ein Malerfürst, einer der vielseitigsten österreichischen Künstler, in zahlreichen internationalen Sammlungen vertreten.
